The color on these is off, also. Maybe the next time will be better!
I knitted both of these at one time, using two balls of yarn. That enabled me to see mistakes very quickly. At the end of each crossing row I'd scan both sides to make sure they looked the same.
These are 4.5" long and about 2.5" wide.
