This past week I found a pattern for the most fantastic pair of socks. These are called Cable Medallion and are located at Goddessknits.com The pattern is by Renee Leverington, and has very intricate cables on both the heel flap and the instep.
I started them using a Baruffa Hilton yarn, and while I love the socks, I hate the yarn.

So I'm going to start them over with a slightly heavier yarn. Time will tell if it's better!
