I'm not a lace knitter, but this KAL intrigued me, so I signed up. It doesn't officially start until August 15, but the Swatch chart has been posted, and many people have bought their yarn and beads.
I chose a yarn called Gloss Lace from Knit Picks. It's 70% merino and 30% silk. The color is celery.
With this I've chosen beads that are clear except for a silver lining. I had some that were absolutely clear, and you couldn't see them against the yarn.
I've just started to do the swatch. I don't think this will be too hard as I'm used to using charts.
